My journey which led me to business ownership.

The world is a big place and a small one at the same time. There are a lot of people in the universe with many different personalities. What works for one person might not be the right fit for someone else and visa versa. Some folks are happy working one job. It gives them a sense of security. Others are happier taking on many different opportunities. One thing remains certain. It is important never to burn your bridges so to speak. You never know when you might need a favor from someone again. In that way the world is very small.

My journey for what works for me in my career led me to start my own business. I was not satisfied with working for one company since I felt that it limited me in many ways. I took the achievements and failures from my past jobs as a learning experience on how to create more positive scenarios for my clients.

Here are a few things that I learned along the way.

1. Keep a positive attitude. ( getting caught up on negativity only leads to making the situation worse )

2. Be Honest. ( It really is the best policy ) Being dishonest will end up hurting you in the long run.

3. Pay it forward. ( helping others before helping yourself is very rewarding and it feels good too.)

These are just a few of the things to keep in mind. I will add more tips in my future articles.

Good luck on your journey!!
